Week 2 Goals

Week 2 Goals:
  • I will walk the dogs for at least 30 minutes every day this week. If I cannot walk the dogs because of the weather, I will go to the gym and use the treadmill or eliptical for 30 minutes.

  • I will keep my daily caloric intake to 1,200-1,400 calories per day.

  1. Are you sure you're planning to eat enough calories? I use the calculator at Fat2Fit http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ They have some great info on this site and awesome podcasts (you can subscribe through iTunes).

  2. That goal should allow me to lose between 1-2 lbs a week. It does not take my exercise into consideration. My calorie goal is the total after I've burned off some with exercise. My calorie count adjusts on MyFitnessPal to accommodate any exercise. Since walking on the treadmill and using the eliptical burn different amounts of calories, my caloric intake will increase depending on how much I burn.
